A new pop-up is hitting the weekend Off the Grid at McCoppin Hub. SFoodie has confirmed that starting this Saturday, Hayes Valley’s True Sake will be offering sake at Jackie’s Vinoteca and Café at 105 Valencia Street.

Normally, Jackie’s served beer, cocktails and crème brulee for those partaking in the all-day festivities.

But True Sake owners Beau Timken and Miwa Wang tell SFoodie that “they’ll offer regular sake pairings, including flights, that will change according to which food vendors are set up outside.”

“We know how well sake functions with food,” Timken said. “Wine can do things, beer can do things, but so can sake.”

The plan is to offer three or four sakes this week, all based on value. True Sake will be at Jackie’s from 6 to 9 p.m. this Saturday the 22nd.
