The Decemberists are getting major props from national media outlets for their latest country-influenced album, The King is Dead. What’s all the hype about? Find out for yourself with a live video webcast during the lunch hour today.

The hour-long set from the band’s home turf in Portland is presented by NPR and Oregon Public Broadcasting and will be the first extended performance of material from the new album released yesterday on Capitol Records.
