Monday Dinners Back at Jardinière

If you are in San Francisco looking for a place to eat on Monday nights, Jardinière has a deal that is hard to beat.

A popular spot for many theatregoers, chef and co-owner Traci Des Jardins offers a wide range of French-California cuisine.

After taking a short break for the holidays, the restaurant starts up its Monday Night Prix Fixe meals tonight. For $45, diners can enjoy a three course meal, wine pairing included. Each week, the restaurant comes up with a different theme for its menu.

For its first menu, the theme is “Get Him to the Greek.”

It features a salad of crispy smelt, orzo and capers with a herb Aïoli, roast leg of Watson Farm lamb, chioggia beets, kalamata olives and spice yogurt and an olive oil cake with honey ice cream and toasted almonds.

Each course is paired with a Greek wine.

Jardinière has already announced menus through February 7 and plan to hold the Monday Night Prix Fixe dinners year round, excluding dates when the restaurant is booked with a private event.
