The Blackbird Vineyards Flock Box Collection is getting national recognition, earning a spot in the January 2011 issue of Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine.

The Napa winery was featured in the “O List” Holiday Gift Guide. The list is a roundup of some of the finest products now available and includes everything from cashmere socks to the hottest new gadgets, aiming to bring luxury within reach.

All of the products are chosen not only for their quality, but also good value.

The Flock Box Collection contains six 50ml bottles of each wine in the Blackbird portfolio. The current collection contains each of the following: 2009 Arriviste Napa Valley Rosé, 2008 Arise Proprietary Red Wine, 2007 Paramour Proprietary Red Wine, 2007 Contrarian Proprietary Red Wine, 2007 Illustration Proprietary Red Wine and 2006 Illustration Proprietary Red Wine.

Blackbird Vineyards was founded in 2003 by Michael Polenske and is an artisanal producer of Pomerol-inspired wines from the Napa Valley.
