Coda, the jazz supperclub on Mission and Duboce will be closing its doors on January 1st after roughly a year and a half. It’s a difficult space to occupy being right next to an underpass and with limited street parking; several venues have since come and gone with none able to stay very long. Owner Bruce Hanson cited the recessed economy as their main reason for shutting their doors.

I wonder what will takes its place? Any guesses?
