There are a lot of cool events happening tonight, but my pick goes to Believer Magazine’s 2010 Art Issue release party at Electric Works gallery, 7:30-9:30pm. There’ll be art, a musical performance by Peggy Honeywell a.k.a. Clare Rojas, interesting people, wine, a presentation by Michael Light on his new work of aerial photographs of L.A., literary folks, stuff to buy, etc. Did I mention art?

The group show features: Dave Eggers, Matt Furie, Ian Huebert, Jason Jägel, Keegan McHargue, Clare Rojas, and Gina Tuzzi. It’s at a great time because you can either grab something to eat before or go out afterward.
