Guided Meditation (based on Meditations for Relaxation or Meditations for a Clear Mind)
Conclusion – Advice on How to Apply Meditation Daily Life
Benefits of Meditation:So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. Just by doing breathing meditation for ten or fifteen minutes each day, we will be able to reduce this stress.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Alise Halbert has been practicing meditation since 2000 and has attended teachings and retreats worldwide. She is currently the Education Program Coordinator for KMC San Francisco and is on the Foundation Program. Alise is happy to share the benefits of meditation with all people from all walks of life.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Close to 22, 10 and 19 bus lines. Street parking available.
Do I need to have any experience?
No. Everyone is welcome, including beginners. The meditations are fully guided so all you need to do is show up.
How should I dress?
No special clothing is required, come as you are.
Are cushions and/or chairs available?
Both mats and chairs will be available available. You are welcome to sit on either. The most important thing is that you can sit comfortably for 20 minutes. Please call for more information at (415) 503-1187.
