The goal of the conference is to educate, train, present ideas and create dialogue on the importance of positive father involvement. To explore and address issues concerning the impact of absent fathers in lives of children and in systems such as Child Welfare, Child Support, Early Childhood Education, School Readiness, child wellness and resiliency. In keeping with the multidisciplinary spirit of the PAPÃS program, we encourage practitioners, educators, researchers and advocates representing all aspects of social services, Early Childhood Education and Child Welfare to participate.
