Come to the 18th Annual Olive Festival: The annual Olive Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday - October 5th and 6th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, presented by the Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce. Bring your families to enjoy food, live music & entertainment, arts & crafts, kids' activities, beer & wine, as well as drawings and prizes. Enjoy shopping for everything from olive oil and olive wood products to gourmet and specialty foods and honey. Hungry? Enjoy a delicious variety of chicken & ribs, French Pizza, linguica sandwiches, kettle corn, dole whip, and Italian Ice. And don't forget local craft beer, assorted wines, water, and sodas. Free Admission!
This year's live music includes local favorites such as Across Party Lines as well as the always entertaining Dixie Dominus Traditional Jazz Band. And returning this year will be the Mission San Jose High School Band and the Wadaiko Newark Taiko drum group. If you are looking for dance, we have the Chinese Liturgical Dancers and the Hula Moves group.
The Festival is located behind Historic Old Mission San Jose in the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose Olive Grove near the intersection of Mission Blvd. and Washington Blvd. at 43326 Mission Blvd. Enter the Festival via Mission Tierra Place or park on Mission Blvd. and walk through Bicentennial Plaza. Please do not bring pets to the Festival.
Funds raised from the Olive Festival are used to fund additional MSJ Chamber community events including the Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration at the Old School Building on Mission Boulevard, the Daffodil Project, and other community endeavors.
