WHAT: The 17th annual RCP Tiburon Mile fundraiser will take place on Sunday, August 19 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Shoreline Park. The event will benefit Lifehouse, a Marin County-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
The international race draws over 500 swimmers, including elite athletes such as Ferry Weertman, the 2016 Olympic Open Water Gold Medalist, and Zane Grothe, the 500 and 1650 Freestyle American record holder.
Team Lifehouse has assembled a group of ten swimmers who will be participating in the RCP Tiburon Mile. The team is made up of Lifehouse staff and friends: Michelle Condit, Mary Toney Dowden, Casey Hudson, Marc-Antoine Maync, Christina Meylan, Joe Meylan, Mary Novak, Jason Ortega, Robert Placak Jr and Manny Rodriguez.

A $20 ticket will include brunch and musical entertainment. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
