This month, celebrated two-star Michelin chef, Suzette Gresham of Acquerello and 1760 Executive Chef Carl Foronda take their cross-cultural collaboration dinner series to the next level with a Freaky Friday-style “role-reversal†dinner which finds both chefs switching culinary roles for one night to create an unforgettable menu on Sunday, March 19th from 5:30pm-9:30pm.
1760’s first collaboration dinner with sister restaurant Acquerello featured a side-by-side format, highlighting a menu of complementary dishes that merged each chef’s love and appreciation for heritage-based cooking. For their upcoming dinner this month, Suzette Gresham and Carl Foronda continue to push culinary boundaries with an exciting role-reversal approach, exploring each other’s cultural cooking traditions with a tag team-style, multi-course menu.
Celebrated for her modern take on Italian fine-dining, Suzette will delve into the soulful flavors of Filipino and Southeast Asian cuisine which influence Carl, while Carl Foronda pulls a page out of Suzette’s recipe book with his personal and stylish interpretation of Italian cooking. Guests will enjoy a rich display of culinary innovation while experiencing first-hand what it tastes like when cultural barriers around food have been playfully disrupted.Â
Tickets are available for $75 per person (Beverages, Tax, Healthy SF, and Gratuity will be paid separately at the restaurant) with multiple seating times from 5:30pm–9:00pm on Sunday, March 19th. Â
