San Francisco Peacemaker Awards
Community Boards introduced the San Francisco Peacemaker Awards in commemoration of our thirty-fifth anniversary in 2011. The awards acknowledge and honor the significant and tireless contributions of others who make San Francisco a city of healthier, more just and respectful neighborhoods and communities. They recognize both those with proven track records of peacemaking and restorative justice in action and our next generation of inspirational "rising" peacemakers.
This years recipients are Michelle Meow (THE RAYMOND SHONHOLTZ VISIONARY PEACEMAKER AWARD), Ana Villareal (THE GAIL SADALLA RISING PEACEMAKER AWARD) and La Raza Community Resource Center (THE COMMUNITY BOARDS LEADERSHIP PEACEMAKER AWARD)
The Awards Ceremony is free and open to all. Kenneth Cloke's Workshop requires a ticket purchase. You may choose your ticket based on the amount that is reasonable for you. We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to "seeing" you on June 5!
