The Agricultural History Project is hosting the Annual Easter On The Farm to celebrate Easter and the beginning of Spring on Saturday, April 12 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, Highway 152 outside Watsonville. This event is FREE! Donations appreciated. Bring your whole neighborhood of children to participate!
This year’s Easter on the Farm will be a week before Easter – and part of the monthly series Second Saturday on the Farm. So come and celebrate just a little early – doubling your fun during this year’s Easter holidays.
Egg Hunts start at 11:15 am and will be every hour in four separate age groups: from 3 and under up to 12 years old. Times for egg hunts are 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, 1:15 pm, and 2:15 pm. Everyone who participates will have a special Easter treat.
Activities for children and adults include: hat and basket making, face-painting, hayrides, games with stilts and hoops, tractor driving, mural painting, and others! We’ll also have chickens, rabbits, and possibly some lambs to pet and watch.
“Easter on the Farm is one of our premier Second Saturday events. We always provide some very special activities for families and fun for everyone,†said John Kegebein, CEO of the Agricultural History Project.
