10th annual Beats for Boobs

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Beats for Boobs, the all-volunteer San Francisco based organization that grants financial support to local breast cancer nonprofits, celebrates their 10th anniversary with an unforgettable night of fashion, music and live performances on Saturday, January 25 from 7pm – 2am at Mezzanine, 444 Jessie Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. For the past ten years, Beats for Boobs has combined art, fashion, food, music, and education to inspire the community to take action, volunteer, and to donate.

The evening starts with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment by Aerial artist Chloe Marvel Light Axelrod presented by TrapezeWorld, laser light performances and live art. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a chance to win fabulous prizes including gift certificates to local eateries, premium wines and weekend getaways.

The highlight of the event is an over the top fashion show featuring models wearing the latest fashions by local Bay Area designers including GB Shrive Designs, Warrior Within, Milena, Silver Lucy, SuperSugarRayRay, and Wabi Sabi Couture. The evening will include dancing to sizzling Bay Area DJ’s (and some surprise guests) who will be spinning all night long.

The boobie educators and Beats for Boobs’ beneficiaries will be on hand to share information on prevention and support services. Proceeds from Beats for Boobs will go to Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, Breast Cancer Fund, Shanti’s Margot Murphy Breast Cancer Program, and Women’s Cancer Resource Center.
