Playing with colors on Holi is a reminder that the color of our skin doesn’t define us: we all become many colors, we are all the same color, we are in this together. This Holi—the Indian festival of colors—100 Days Action, in care of artist Surabhi Saraf, invites you to practice openness and willingness in a joyful connecting with everyone, especially those you do not recognize or relate to.
Bring your joy, and come dressed in clothes that you dont mind get color on.
We will have music, colors and some Indian sweets and snacks for you to enjoy!
* Suggested donation $5.
This is an all volunteer effort, your contribution is greatly appreciated.
100 Days Action is a calendar of activist and artistic strategy – a call to thinkers, artists, and writers to propose gestures that can be carried out either at home or in the world. From the sixth through the eighth week of this one hundred day project, 100 Days Action will be in residence at Southern Exposure.
