Join the discussion at our next 0 Feet Away! Welcoming back our host and Member, Mikal, who will be leading this special socially-distanced session at Dolores Park!

September 15 Topic TBA; we will meet at the corner of Church & 20th Streets (top of the park) and then proceed to our circle. Plan to bring an extra layer and a chair or blanket to sit on, as well as any drinks or snacks you would like.
What is 0 Feet Away??
A safe space for Academy Members and their guests to connect, learn, and create a dialogue around the many facets of gay/queer sexuality that come up in our community, particularly in the digital age. We cover a wide range of topics, host guest speakers, and get into some lively conversation!
Please note: "0 Feet Away" is intended to be a safe, confidential space, where everyone feels empowered to engage and share thoughtfully. We ask that all attendees respect these guidelines and commit to treating others with the utmost sensitivity and respect.

Established in 2017, The Academy is a neighborhood social club in San Francisco's Castro District, focused on promoting genuine social interactions while offering engaging programming in collaboration with nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and leading community members.
The Club is open to anyone who wishes to apply, and aspires to be diverse in age, race, gender, and social standing, with all Members sharing a common interest in engaging in the community and valuing in-person interactions.
