Young Moon
Young Moon is Trevor Montgomery (Lazarus, The Drift, Tarental), Danny Grody (The Drift, Tarental), Jeff Moller and Syam Zapalowski.
"It engulfs the listener—and sometimes even the narrator…” - Wall Street Journal
"powerful and heartfelt, somewhere between Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen."– Consequence of Sound
Young Moon began with Trevor Montgomery, a craftsman. By day he's a skilled tile setter, a job taxing to both the mind and body. By night he's an equally meticulous and hard working musician, coaxing just the right tones out of his vintage drum machines and synths to carry his tales of love and redemption. As a tile setter and as a musician, his job is the same: assembling things of beauty to fill empty spaces.
On Young Moon's debut album Navigated Like the Swan, Western Vinyl. Trevor provided all instrumentation, in addition to vocals, including rudimentary percussion. He overdubbed his voice to form a choir.
In 2014, Young Moon evolved into a band. Trevor invited collaborators Danny Grody (The Drift, Tarentel), Jeff Moller and Syam Zapalowski to join him. They perform together as Young Moon and have a new album due out April 2016 on Western Vinyl

Joseph Childress
“Joseph Childress fleshes out his music and meaning in his songs with his vocals better than any myriad of instruments or backing musicians ever could. The type of voice that rattles your bones when you’re sitting two rows back, where you can’t wipe that smile off your face as you think how long you’ve waited to hear an artist that truly inspires you to pay attention to nothing else but their performance.”
— Naturalismo
Paint the Trees White
Paint the Trees White is the recording project of Josh Permenter, who creates off-the-cuff pop music with melodic guitar hooks and an emphasis on storytelling. Combining his love of sixties west coast pop with nineties era indie rock, he fuses these genres to create a unique sound that is distinctly American and all his own.
