Coachella, Fauxchella and Free Events

For music fans, it's that wonderful time of the year when acts performing at Coachella stop in the Bay Area (check out our playlist HERE) and the Outside Lands rumor mill is churning at capacity. Tickets are hard to find for many Coachella acts performing here, but there are still options with the Airborne Toxic Event at The Warfield and a free in-store performance with the UK's hottest new export Jessie Ware. SF Jazz Center visits the work of one literature's greatest drunks with Ute Lemper: The Bukowski and E2F Spring Fling brings a free party to Slide. There's more free fun with the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown and West Portal's 25th Sidewalk Arts and Crafts Show. SF punk icon Jello Biafra is back on stage and Sunday Streets takes over the Mission District.
