SCRAP

Arts , Shopping , City , Organization

SCRAP is a non-profit creative reuse center and arts education nonprofit founded in 1976 in San Francisco, California. SCRAP breathes new life into old arts and crafts supplies and reduces waste by diverting over 200 tons of materials heading to landfill every year.

At the intersection of the environment, art, and education, SCRAP is a Bay Area resource for makers of all ages, and everyone who values access to creative experiences. Our mission is to put the materials and methods of art-making in reach of all. Our passion is creative reuse - turning everyday objects into beautiful projects that fuel our spirit and bolster environmental awareness.
