We have all experienced New Orleans Style Mardi Gras - now for the Real Fat Tuesday Party - KARNEVAL German Style! Germany has been celebrating this holiday since the Medieval times.
What makes the German Version Different?
GROUP COSTUMES! Not just masks and some feathers...no no! Creativity is encouraged! Clowns are a bonus (who knew?) You live in SF - get the office together and come up with a theme!
Free Round (of our choice) for the best costume(s)!
DONUTS! Krapfen. Mutzenmandeln. Kuerbiskrapfen. Oh My!
POLITICALLY INCORRECT FLOATS! (Please Google these, we have to be PC so we can not share these as much as we want to)
THROW CANDY! No beads??!!?? Yes darlings, Candy is what the Germans throw.
So we say - bring on the Costumes! Chef will have the Donuts! And if you want to arrive in a Politically Incorrect Float - we will comp your first Das Boot, but you must pay for the parking. ;) And of course for the Traditionalist we will have Beads.
Party Begins at 4pm and goes till we need to cut you all off.
