Swindle, a multi-talented musician and producer, hailing from South London who took a keen interest in music at a young age, learning to play the piano aged 8 and recording his own music by 13. Taking influence from Jazz, Reggae and Soul artists (including Miles Davis, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder), Swindle focused his energies on making predominantly Grime and Hip Hop beats whilst attending college.

From 2007-2009 Swindle produced for the who’s who of the UK underground, names like Chipmunk, Professor Green, Asher D, Roll Deep and Roses Gabor, while making steps to break out as a producer fronting his own music after long being in the shadow of the massive artists he was working with. Linking up with Elijah & Skilliam as they started the Butterz label proved to be the turning point in 2010, as they pushed him to finally make the leap into the limelight.

The underground smash ‘Airmiles’ (released by Planet Mu) made a big impact on the club scene and pushed him to the forefront as a DJ at the same time. Playing sets that consist mainly of his own music he always leaves an individual stamp on ravers with his brand of jazzy Grime, Dubstep and UK Funky. In between that, expect exclusive sounds from his Butterz label mates such as Terror Danjah & Royal-T as well collaborations with heavy hitters Roska and Silkie. Swindle’s biggest tracks to date ‘Mood Swings’ (the video for which was an internet hit) released on Butterz, ‘Ignition’ Featuring Newham General Footsie and ‘Do The Jazz’ released on Deep Medi has solidified him as one of the great young prospects to shape the future of underground music in the UK.

Starting off as a multi genre DJ in 98’ Stylust quickly got into the hip hop production game contributing to the local scene as well as being lucky enough to work with mc's all over the world such as THE GAME (Aftermath,Black Wall St.), FREEWAY(Def Jam), SOUTH CENTRAL CARTEL, DOVE SHACK, , FREESTYLE(ARSONISTS), NGA FSH(Project Blowed),MAESTRO, SWOLLEN MEMBERS, EMOTIONZ, KYPRIOS and many more. After starting SoundVibe Records with Emotionz in 2009(releasing his solo album “KUSH”), Stylust has focused back on Dj’ing and Producing but now in the dubstep/Bass Music arena’s. This powerful performing duo has been tearing down every venue with enough bassbins to hold them down. Look for them at festivals and clubs in your area as they’re touring schedule gets heavier everyday. Stylust’s production quality has caught on quickly in the Bassmusic world catching the eye of BASSNECTAR who asked him to remix his smash tune “Cozza Frenzy” which was released Jan 2009 on bassnectar’s website as part of the Cozza Frenzy remix pack 1. Since then Stylust has 2 upcoming releases with 2 different label’s DUBFRONT(Chicago) and MONKEY DUB(Montreal). Stylust has also released 2 mixtapes in the short time with loads of self-produced exclusives and remixes. The most recent being “Welcome to Dubrock” packed with rock influenced dubstep anthems. Look out for many more releases and collaborations from Stylust as this producers work ethic is second to none.

For 3 years, Irie Cartel has brought "Ritual" to San Francisco, featuring the very best in bass heavy electronic music. Our event is from 10pm to 3am every Thursday at Mighty (119 Utah St). The venue is ranked as having one of the best sound systems in the Bay Area. Admission this week is $5 before 10:30 and $10 after 10:30.

*DRINK SPECIAL: $8 for a 16oz PBR & whiskey shot between 10pm and 11pm.*

This is our resurrection. Our rebirth into a new era of creativity and acceptance of one another.
