Our March concert takes us on a journey as the Armenian composer Alexander Arutunian brings Eastern European and Gypsy flavors to his Trumpet Concerto, featuring the brilliant up-and-coming trumpeter Mary Elizabeth Bowden.  We then take our audience to Russia and the Middle East with Scheherazade, featuring PSO’s own Concertmaster, Debra Fong.  Romanian composer Georges Enesco and British-born composer Anna Clyne complete our trip with their mesmerizing pieces.
