ONE IN WHICH WE ARE

SEE EVENT DETAILS
API Cultural Center teams up with independent curatorial team David de Rozas and Alex Wang to present its spring exhibition, ONE IN WHICH WE ARE, as the kickoff event of its 18th annual United States of Asian America Festival: Sparking Light.

Featuring a special performance by NAKA (Navarrete x Kajiyama Dance Theater) with excerpts from The Anastasio Project at 8pm

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
The visual arts exhibition explores the complex interdependencies between structures, processes, events, and the collective individual. Conceived as a relational map of reflections and experiences, the group exhibition brings forth inquiries surrounding individual positionalities and collective responsibilities. Through video works, painting, sculpture, photography and performance, artists of various backgrounds from the Bay Area and beyond explore personal and social wounds as collective attachments from where we may interpret and embrace our daily lives.

All events are free and open to the public.
