Zürich and San Francisco meet again at The Laundry to generate a confrontation among two young artists, Tim Häsler and Cole Solinger. In a continuous dialogue between the two sister cities, aesthetics and poetics meet and develop into one single event through a variegate and polyphonic experience.
New aesthetic and artistic occupations find an intimate space to develop alternatives to the outside public space, in a sort of atemporal and anarchic realm. In the side room of The Laundry, this dimension is further discovered through the synthesis of two geographically and conceptually distant interpretations, merging together towards an unitarian encounter.
The Laundry is a creative space dedicated to fostering creative culture, connection and community. Located in San Francisco’s Mission District, the 6000 square foot space hosts an art gallery, experiential events, community workshops and more - providing unique opportunities for exploration, collaboration and connection.
