Root Division presents MFA Now 2015, the fourth iteration of our annual archive publication and juried exhibition highlighting the work of current visual arts MFA candidates in seven Bay Area programs. The MFA Now 2015 Exhibition features sixteen artists selected by juror, Lisa Ellsworth of the Palo Alto Art Center.
The MFA Now 2015 Archive, is an inclusionary publication with a full page dedicated to each contributing MFA candidate and a compilation of essays by the Juror, MFA program faculty, and Root Division staff. This printed archive documents current practices in Bay Area MFA programs and find connections between the artists and institutions.
