DJ Derek Pavone has been listening to and collecting music since the late 70's. While having one ear focused on classic Disco and the other on Tech House, Nu-disco, Indie Dance, Electro, Funk, and Soul, his selections impart a musical narrative that keeps listeners engaged and the dance floor moving. Derek is a member of Seattle's first all-queer DJ collective "Bottom Forty" - contributed to by the highest caliber of musicians who vehemently stick to their integrity and prowess in musical selections and mixing. He was kind and patient in hosting Go BANG!'s Sergio Fedasz when he played in Seattle in February and is hosting Go BANG!'s Steve Fabus in April. We hope he is not too exhausted after hosting both Mr. Go BANG!'s and we are so excited to have him work our disco dancers at this month's party!

DJ Pone has been rocking parties in the Bay Area and beyond since the '90s. Perhaps best known as a scratch DJ, he has battled against the some of the best turntablists in the country and was a finalist in the prestigous DMC U.S. DJ competition in 1999. In addition to rocking parties and DJ battles, DJ Pone has rocked with rock bands, including Atlantic Records recording artists The Transplants (staring Travis Barker and Tim Armstrong), one of the headliners of the 2005 Vans Warped Tour. He and Go BANG!'s Sergio Fedasz have been friends for about 10 years, with Pone having been a regular guest on Sergio's KALX Radio Show. It is a great thrill, and a long-time goal of Go BANG!, to have Pone do our party's First-Ever Turntablism-Flavoured All-Vinyl Disco Mix! Get ready to get blown away by the skills and lost in the music when Pone takes you on a disco journey on the dancefloor!
