ETR: Where The Wild Things Are

SEE EVENT DETAILS
“That very night in Max’s room a forest grew - and grew - and grew - until his ceiling hung with vines, and the walls became the world all around, and an ocean tumbled by with a private boat for Max, and he sailed off through night and day.”

This event is the Official Afterparty for https://www.PartyAtThePalaceSf.com, also co-produced by ETR and sponsoring education nonprofits. ETR is taking over a private three-stage club for charity while creating a night to remember for you.

~~~CAUSE~~~
ETR is showcasing a number of local electronic artists to raise money for K-12 Bay Area education nonprofits.
30% of proceeds will be donated DIRECTLY to the education non-profits listed at the bottom of this page.
Purchase your tickets here: http://bit.ly/1Rruli4
The Party at the Palace sold out 1300 tickets in two days - don't miss out on this opportunity to contribute!
Prices:
$25 - Early Bird
$30 - Presale
$35 - Final Call
~~~TEASER~~~
Escape your routine and lose yourself in the childhood wonder of magic - and discovery - as we take you on your own imaginary boat to a faraway land where you can ramble and cavort as you please.

In this place far from home you'll encounter many things: a massive rumpus of dancing and grooving, extraordinary characters offering (alcoholic) potions, jungley and dirty dirty beats. But this event isn't just limited to Max and his Wild Things: maybe you'll run into the Humbug arguing vigorously with the Trunchbull in the corner, or Aslan patrolling the hallways.

Be ready to dance with us all night long.

~~~ATTIRE~~~
Dress to impress.
Feel free to wear a costume! Dress as your favorite childhood storybook character, and to express yourself in any way that represents him/her/it: in clothing, personality, or spirit.
You are Aslan, proud and majestic (though your tattered Halloween costume mane may suggest otherwise), or maybe you’re Ramona Quimby, utterly infuriating but full of heart. Or don a red cashmere sweater and come as our beloved Mr. Rogers. The possibilities are magical.
~~~EDUCATION NONPROFITS~~~
Here are the local education nonprofits we’re supporting:

Alternatives in Action (http://www.alternativesinaction.org/)
Black Girls Code (http://www.blackgirlscode.com/)
Citizen Schools (http://www.citizenschools.org/california/)
Girls Who Code (http://girlswhocode.com/)
Minds Matter (http://www.mindsmattersf.org/)
Mission Graduates (http://www.missiongraduates.org/)
Wishbone (https://www.wishbone.org/)

“AND NOW,” cried Max, “LET THE WILD RUMPUS START!”

We're Escape The Routine, a tight crew of friends trying to spice up our lives by throwing events that we'd want to attend in SF for us and the people around us. We care about bringing quality music and creative events, but most importantly we care about the type of people we bring to enjoy these experiences with us.

If this appeals to you, leave us your e-mail at the link above and we'll keep you updated on the events we throw! And if you have any suggestions or ideas for future events, reach out to one of us and keep us in the loop.
