A relentless shape-shifter described by Office Magazine as a "dynamic, and a liberating enigma," the project confronts the depths of existential questions surrounding life and death through different voices and characters in potent songs that distill cathartic relief in the joy and gratitude of living presently. Her music has encompassed doo-wop redux, mystic ballads, electronic dance, loner's laments, ecstatic love songs, film soundtracks, dance scores, global pop, political pop, existential pop and more.

Assbring records most of the music herself with poppy melodies, simple vocal lines, acoustic guitars, and twinkling pianos. She sings of hope and loneliness, with a sorrow in her voice that veils even the most cheerful of her songs in sadness. Her second full-length album titled 'From the Valley to the Stars' will be released April 22nd. The album is chock-full of non-traditional folk songs that explore the world at large. It's a gorgeous album, full of hope and longing.
