When former owner Paddy Nolan died, the Women's Building, in an infamous decision, decided not to renew the lease and to convert the space into a day-care facility. Squeezed into two rooms and divided by an island bar, the bar has lost some it's former appeal but still, many regulars from around the neighborhood hang out sipping Guinness. There is also a pool table and a jukebox.
