Curses was originally an Instibubes (RIP) artist back in 2008 and to most had disappeared. Fast forward 5 years to Spring 2013 and a series of after after hour parties in Brooklyn NY, inspired Curses to rise again. “I was going to a lot of after-hours parties in Brooklyn and loved it. It inspired me to go to the studio and suddenly I had a whole bunch of new songs. Next thing I was djing at different parties around New York and just loved it. It was at that point when I knew Curses was coming back.” And Curses has hit a nerve. With his first proper appearance at this years Miami Winter Conference, the first single SO GOOD became an instant anthem.He sent the track to a few friends and suddenly the song is being played on Radio 1. Seven times in two weeks. On top of that Heidi asked for a DJ mix for Radio 1 as well as long- time friend Skream. Meanwhile back in the US, Tensnake was about to begin his first ever full North American tour with Curses in support. A strong friendship was formed and the tour was a huge success from start to finish. Follow up singles 'Watch & Do' and 'Deliver' saw Curses expand his fan base massively and end 2013 on a huge high. With EP's lined up for Let's Play House and Throne Of Blood you can expect 2014 to be an exciting year for the Brooklyn native.
