Mixed media works resulting from experiments with a new painting technique involving fabric, fluid watercolor inks and metallic paint. Through this very organic process, a series of pieces emerged that took on a life of their own.
Like spirits escaping from a fire, like ancient beings drawn on the walls of a cave - they appeared to share a quality of vibrance and changeable essence of Awakened Beings.
They are ready to take their first flight out in the world, and I am delighted to share them at a very special art opening on September 9 at the inspiring and soulful Bazaar Art Cafe!
The event, conceived as a light and fun reverie will feature unique musical and spoken word performances by Guinevere Q and Breakfast (of Wyatt Act) and hang drum player Gabriel Goldberg - all inspired by the vital energy of the Beings!
