The Festival of Bad Ad Hoc Hypotheses (BAH!) is a celebration of well-argued and thoroughly researched but completely incorrect scientific theory, Fri., Oct. 28, 8PM at the Castro Theater, San Francisco. Six brave speakers will present their bad theories in front of a live audience and judges with real science credentials, to determine who takes home the coveted sculpture of Darwin shrugging skeptically. Keynote speaker is Nerdist Science Editor Kyle Hill with judges Mary Roach, author of New York Times bestsellers such as STIFF: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers; and 2015 BAHFest West Champion Louis Evans.
