SFMOMA’s third street location is being torn apart and put back together for a massive renovation project, but the arts—and the parties—carry on at venues throughout the Bay Area. Museum officials announced today that the annual Modern Ball party will return with Holy Ghost! and a Passion Pit DJ set April 30 at Yerba Buena Gardens.

The bi-annual fund-raiser gala on April 30 designed by Stanlee Gatti features a gala dinner, supper club and Post-Modern party (the most popular option for those who can’t afford a $2,500 tax-deductable seating at the table). The event benefits art exhibitions throughout California and arts education programs.

Holy Ghost! and Passion Pit will perform at City View in the Metreon, along with other light-night entertainment throughout the gardens and Silent Disco party. Early-bird tickets are available through March 30 for $100.
