Daft Punk Drops New Video To Promote Upcoming Album

Parisian electro-house duo Daft Punk shared a new video to promote their long-awaited new album, “Random Access Memories.”

Dubbed “The Collaborators,” this series of videos released by Vice’s Creators Project focuses on the artists that contributed to the upcoming record, the group’s first in eight years. Daft Punk’s first guest is 72-year-old Italian disco producer Giorgio Moroder, who also produced Donna Summer’s greatest hits.

In the clip below, Moroder opens up about his personal career and details the birth of electronic dance music. His best quote? “Everybody likes to dance…For 10 minutes or an hour, or 10 hours, you forget your problems and it makes people happy.”
