Houdini For the Holidays

A little Houdini, a little Hanukkah, a lot of holiday fun.

Conspiracy of Beards

Although Houdini: Art and Magic opened back in October, The Contemporary Jewish Museum is bringing the awesome exhibit back to life with a handful of Hanukkah-Houdini activities for a special edition of RitLab. Visitors will have a chance to make their own zany crafts like magic wallets, monkey-fist key chains and those popular Victorian optical illusion toys called thaumatropes. There will also be a chat about the current Houdini exhibition, an a cappella performance by Conspiracy of Beards and a driedel spin-off.

The event is on Thursday, December 22 and begins at 6pm.
