Oktoberfest, the annual Bavarian festival, is a celebration of beer and food and lederhosen too.  There is a huge list of events on tap throughout the Bay Area, including at Drake’s Brewing in San Leandro this Friday the 23rd.

Drake’s Flocktoberfest will feature authentic German cuisine from Speiskammer, an excellent spot in Alameda. Included on the menu are Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, Bavarian Pretzels, a variety of German Salads, Cheese Spätzle and Apple Strudel.

The $55 price tag also includes three beer tickets to use for Barrel-aged beers during happy hour and any beer afterwards.

And lederhosen is both welcomed and encouraged!!

Drake’s Brewing is located at 1933 Davis Street, Building 177 in San Leandro. Flocktoberfest is this Friday from 6-9:30 p.m. with happy hour from 6-7. Click here for ticket information.
