The Drums’ sophomore effort Portamento drops next Tuesday, September 6 on Frenchkiss Records. In preparation the band has launched the Visiomento Sessions after the UK’s CCTV network, ostensibly a comment on voyeurism and (lack of) privacy in the modern world. Or just a way to broadcast some cool tunes, bro.

Episode 01 of the Visiomento Sessions is a grainy B&W in-studio performance of “What You Were.” The days of 80s British indie rock are back in fine form.
