Bartender, I’ll Take Another Please!
Drinking before noon usually leads me to think of one and only one cocktail: a wonderful Bloody Mary. Just the thought right now is making my mouth water.
Well on Sunday, you’ll get your chance to taste more than your fair share of the cocktail as eight San Francisco bartenders will be competing for the title of “Best Bloody Mary” in the city at Scala’s Bistro.
The event coincides with the launch of Scala’s new brunch menu from Chef Jen Biesty.
The contest takes place from 11-1 and tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. The fee includes a chance to taste all eight drinks plus samples from the new menu.
Proceeds will benefit the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture.
