Album Stream: Death Cab For Cutie, “Codes And Keys”
Death Cab’s seventh full-length Codes And Keys drops next Tuesday on Atlantic — it’s their first album in three years and, more importantly, Ben Gibbard’s first real collection of songs since settling down with Zooey Deschanel.
Gone are the days of DCFC’s tales of uncertainty, bad breakups and nostalgia. Gibbard’s got a lighter heart these days, and the songs look more toward the future than regretting the past. Check it out for yourself on NPR’s First Listen.
