A new HBO Production – “Hemingway & Gellhorn”, about the relationship between Ernest Hemingway (Clive Owens) and Martha Gellhorn (Nicole Kidman) – is underway and they are looking for some extras. But the specifics are, well, pretty specific.

They need “18- to 40-year-old Spanish-looking, English-speaking men with fair to medium complexions, dark hair, eyes and lean physiques.” I guess they’ll be playing Spanish soldiers.

Casting is taking place right now until Sunday, Feb 27th from 12:30pm – 4pm at Beau Bonneau Casting (84 First St.). You’ll need to bring at least one recent color photo.

According to the Chron, “The scenes will be filmed in Oakland on weekdays from March 9 to 21. Selected extras could potentially work all nine days but must be available on March 11, 14 and 15 from early morning to late evening.”

If chosen, extras will be receiving $64 for 8 hours of work, plus overtime.
