Papercuts Preps for New Album Release, Fillmore Show
Fading Parade, the fourth album from locals Papercuts (aka Jason Quever), is a little jangly, a lot melancholy, and a good place to start when you want to give old Morrissey a rest. There’s even a bit of Earlimart or The Stars of Track and Field in lead singer Quever’s quavering, whispery vocals.
The album drops March 1 on Sub Pop just before the band hits the road with Still Corners, but you can catch them Friday February 18 at The Fillmore with Beach House.
