With all the buzz about Willie Nelson’s medicinal intake and run-ins with the law, it’s sometimes easy to forget that he’s a damn good singer and songwriter. The American icon is back in San Francisco tonight in the midst of his annual stand at the Fillmore. It’s a little bit country, but Willie’s got a whole lot of rock ’n’ roll in him, too. The 77 year old still keeps a hearty tour schedule, and he has collaborated with everyone from Johnny Cash to Snoop Dogg.

A few nuggets you can look forward to if you make it out to The Fillmore:

“Whiskey River”

“On the Road Again”

“Shotgun Willie”

“Harder They Come”
