Your Fearless Leader (YFL) is an indie rock band from San Francisco, California. The band consists of members Marcus Ghiasi (Guitar, Vocals), Jerry Haagsma (Drums), Alan Fineberg (Bass, Synthesizer), Aldo Jimenez (Saxophone), and Hannah Glass (Violin). Founded in 2015 by multi-instrumentalist Marcus Ghiasi, Your Fearless Leader came into prominence with the release of their debut EP, Retrospection. In 2018 YFL released back-to-back EPs entitled Rites and Call My Name. Their widespread embrace allowed YFL to cement their place as one of the Bay Area's most recognized indie rock bands. In 2020, the band released two new singles, Lime and To Hell with That. Your Fearless Leader pushes the boundaries of the traditional rock band outfit and is continuously evolving from its starting point of baroque pop and indie rock. The band's sound is a mix of rhythmic, harmonized guitar with shifting, interlocking drum and bass patterns, sweeping violin and commanding brass, all embraced by vocals wrought with personal and collective experiences.
Your Fearless Leader; A seven piece powerhouse comprised of the diversity of persons that exemplify the very nature of San Francisco. With a performance that engages every sense of the human experience, Your Fearless Leader captures it's audience through narrative song stories, dynamic orchestration and humble beginnings.
Evolving from a genesis as a solo project, Your Fearless Leader has integrated the orchestral instrumentation of a symphony and the heart-pounding soul of rock into a refreshingly distinct sound, in a manor of which retains familiarity yet wonder. YFL's music tell contemplative stories to the world around them. From silent falsetto to wanted robbers, from the regretted pasts to lonely futures, from darkest suicide to hopeful love, this is the dream called life.
Your Fearless Leader has established themselves in a niche of the San Francisco indie scene showing no signs of stumble. Reaching and passing milestones continuously, they are alive.

We will be with celebrities (Eric Wilson of Sublime 20 million albums sold) (Wade Youman of Unwrittern law 2 million albums sold) This will be the official Sublime with Rome afterparty across the country. We have played with Hobo Johnson, Sublime with Rome, Dwight Yoakham, Pennywise, Del the Funky Homosapien of The Gorillaz and won many competitions in our hometown. We were voted best punk rock band in Bay Area magazine "The Bohemian" and got first place in Haight Ashbury battle of the bands, and Lagunitas Beer Battle of the bands.
