Top five songs to break up and make love to

As Valentine's Day approaches, we turn our attention away from who's playing where, and toward the emotionality behind the music. Taking the upcoming day into account, three brave writers have revealed their personal lists of songs that work between the sheets and others that are perfect for breaking up to.

Glancing through the "making love" side of the ledger, probably the more interesting, the reader will notice that there wasn't a mention of such classic "getting your groove on" artists as Maxwell, Barry White, Chet Baker, or Miles Davis. But the science of love has no formula, so many surely have their own tried and true "love" songs.

As to breaking up, it's best that you don't wait until dinner in a nice restaurant on Valentine's Day. It can't be emphasized more! Seriously, on to the list: it was nice to see "These Boots Were Made for Walking", but one cd, yes the entire cd, that would have been great to see, perfect for a gilted man if you're planning to dump him, was the late Marvin Gaye's "Here, My Dear". As a parting gift, you'll be teaching him to bad mouth a former love in an oh so sweet and sexy way.

Maybe a few of these songs will come in handy.
