The Best (and Worst) in Films

2005 Edition

Our critics put our minds together to compile the best and worst in movies this year. You had gems like Brokeback Mountain and then you had movies like The House of Wax. Terrence Howard blew our minds through his performances in three major movies this year and Philip Seymour Hoffman held our attention with only one. Paris Hilton proved, once again, why she should stick with amateur films, Jessica Simpson demonstrated all the range she showed in her reality show and Orlando Bloom showed us how not do to an American accent.

We had war, we had love, we had wedding crashers and cowboys. There were gorillas, guns, and guitars amongst rappers, virgins, and writers (and sometimes there was a little bit of all three). Ah, 2005 was a good year.
