Stephen Prutsman is one of the most innovative musicians of his time. A versatile pianist, composer and conductor, he moves easily from classical to jazz and other world music styles. A medal winner at the Tchaikovsky and Queen Elisabeth Piano Competitions, his program includes a potpourri of short pieces by Debussy, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, and his own compositions, as well as two sonatas by Beethoven and Schubert.
