Every school needs to create and sustain a core group of staff with the advanced skills to resolve incidents of bullying and harassment. This one-day workshop trains select teachers and staff how to be their school Solution Coaches®, ready to run a Solution Team® for any student that is being harassed or bullied and to help students who are entrenched in the role of bully or target learn new ways.
Through a combination of scenarios, small-group discussions, role plays and interactive media presentations, participants learn how to:
Lead a team of students through all stages of a Solution Team® to stop the bullying of one of their peers
Create successful collaboration with a parent when their child is a serial bully or target
Implement an empathy-building action plan to remedy any hostile environment that may have arisen in the wider peer group
Solution Coaches trained by No Bully are able to stop student bullying in over 90% of cases.
