Where to Eat, Drink and Sleep Near AT&T Park

For the second time since 2010, San Francisco will host the World Series as the San Francisco Giants take on the Detroit Tigers for the MLB championship.

After a National League win at the All Star Game, the Giants have home-field advantage in the best-of-seven series that starts Wednesday (October 24) and continues Thursday at AT&T Park.
The series moves to Detroit Saturday through Monday (if necessary) and will return to San Francisco on October 31 and November 1, if needed.

San Francisco has been taken over by “Orange October” in all corners of the city. For fans who want to get close to the action, several hotels are within walking distance or a short cab ride to AT&T Park.

There are also a variety of dining and drinking options nearby, from classy cocktails and fine dining at Twenty Five Lusk to the rowdy sports bar MoMo's just across the street from the ballpark. Visit our complete list of San Francisco restaurants HERE.

For cultural distractions away from the game, the Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is only a few blocks from AT&T Park and the de Young Museum offers opportunities to view fine art in Golden Gate Park.

Pier 39 is the hub of tourist activities at Fisherman's Wharf, along with the Buena Vista Café, the originator of Irish Coffee.
