PRESIDIO DIALOGUES – Thursday Evenings at 6 pm
Notable authors, artists, and conversation starters explore themes from ancient history to current events through interactive dialogues, stimulating talks, panels, performances, and films.
Since the earliest days of motion pictures, the Presidio has been one of Hollywood’s favorite film locations, shaping the popular image of both the post and the park. Using stills and clips, presenter Brad Rosenstein takes us on an exhilarating time-travelling journey through some of the most notable movies shot here, from Vertigo to Star Trek IV.
Brad Rosenstein is Program Producer for the Presidio Trust, where he is part of a team that organizes and produces nearly 100 public programs annually at the historic Presidio Officers’ Club. He is also an independent curator, writer, and speaker whose appearances include The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in New York and Los Angeles, the Film Society of Lincoln Center, and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
