Philadelphia Folk Festival

Now in its 48th year, the Philadelphia Folk Festival is one of Philly’s premier musical events. The festival is held annually in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, which is in the vicinity of Philadelphia by the non-profit Philadelphia Folksong Society. The Philadelphia Folk Festival not only features a terrific number of famous folk musicians, but it also houses craft vendors, workshops, kids activities and camping.

Crafts & More

The Philadelphia Folk Festival also features a long line of artists, glassblowers, metalsmiths, and candelmakers, all selling their beautiful wares in festival’s craft area. This year’s festival will include Artistic Visions, Ceramics, Clothing, (including tie dye), Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Soaps, Candles, Wood, Metal and Musical Instruments.

Camping at the Philadelphia Folk Festival

The Philadelphia Folk Festival welcomes thousands of campers every year. To camp on the festival’s campgrounds, you must have a Weekend Pass and a camping ticket. The campgrounds have room for tent setup or vehicle camping. The campground requires a camping “wristlet” to verify that you are indeed a Folk Festival camper. Wristlets can be attained when you arrive at the campgrounds. Please see the Philadelphia Folk Festival for further details.
